Our take on the fit
Add the missing grinding step
Change
Consider the metal Infinity when you want to grind whole beans and its controls fit your routine. Compare it with Encore before choosing one.
Skip
Skip it if your espresso setup needs a level of adjustment that has not been verified, or an existing grinding option already works.
What you need
- Whole coffee beans, a compatible electrical outlet and a brewer.
- Set grind size for the chosen brew method and recipe.
Reuse what you already own when it fits.
Fit and reasons to pause
Editorial fit notes
- A lower-priced burr-grinder candidate for a new whole-bean routine, subject to the brew method. Compare it with other grinders rather than buying both.
Consider another option if
- A working grinder or acceptable grinding service already meets the need.
- Guaranteed precision for a particular espresso setup is required.
