Stumptown specifies automatic drip and pour-over for its medium grind. You still need the brewer, its filter and water, but you do not need a grinder for this bag.
Can I use it for French press or espresso?
Stumptown says this grind is not ideal for either. French press calls for a coarser grind and espresso a finer one. Choose whole-bean Holler Mountain with suitable grinding if those are your methods.
Is the ground version a different blend or decaf?
It is the same Holler Mountain blend in a ground format, not a decaf option. Choose by format if you already like the blend’s description. If decaf is required, the ground format does not solve that need.
